A safe place to be seen, heard and understood.
I’m Cheryl Taylor, an expressive therapist, educator and clinical supervisor. I offer Sandplay and expressive therapies from my practice in Inverloch, and online supervision for trainee, graduate and experienced practitioners.
How I can help
I’ve spent over thirty years working with individuals, couples, families and children. I’ll respond to you in the way that best meets your needs, whether that’s talking, making something with your hands, or simply noticing what your body is telling you.
-
Sandplay therapy
Using a tray of sand and a collection of small figures, you build scenes that can say what words sometimes can’t. It’s gentle, unhurried, and suits adults and children alike.

My approach
I walk alongside you, listening deeply, and look for the gold within.
I am fundamentally person-centred in both therapy and supervision. I trust in each person’s innate wisdom and their natural orientation towards growth.
Alongside conversation, I use creative and somatic approaches to help you process experience and expand awareness, working with images, symbols, drawing, writing, story and body sensation.
Above all, I’m committed to creating a space where you can be seen, heard, understood, accepted and valued. Research in relational neuroscience now strongly supports what I’ve seen for decades: relationship itself is healing.
Education, training and experience
With over sixty years of being human (daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, friend, colleague, partner) and thirty years in the helping professions, I’ve learned a lot about life and people.
